Rev. Cameron L. McGill

Lead Pastor - Lake Church & WLK Camp

Cameron L. McGill, 49, was saved at the age of 8 (led by a Christian school teacher) and called to the Gospel ministry at age 15. He has been in full-time Church ministry for the past 30 years.

Cameron is married to his partner in ministry, Tiffany Julian McGill. They have four children: sons, Hastin (27), Brooks (24), Jay (22), and daughter Leah (16). In addition, the McGill family claims as their “Adopted Daughter,” Tabitha Mesina Short of Vadul Lui Isac, Moldova who now lives in California with her husband, Caleb, and precious children, daughter Everly and sons Toby and Jonah. The McGill family shares a Heart for Ministry and a Passion for Missions “Here, There, and Everywhere” (Acts 1:8). They have travelled globally on Mission for the Lord.
 

In April 2014, God led Pastor Cameron to birth the LAKE Campus at White Lake. This ministry expanded in 2017 to include White Lake Christian Camp, a 3-acre waterfront retreat at White Lake, NC.  In addition to his pastoral duties, Cameron preaches in Revivals and Conferences across the country throughout the year. Since 2011, Pastor Cameron has established two mission partnerships in New York City and Moldova (Europe). Cameron and Tiffany have led many mission trips to these and many other destinations.  Before birthing the Lake Church, Cameron served as the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dublin, NC from 2000-2018.

Pastor Cameron is a 1992 Graduate of Kerwin Baptist Christian School (Kernersville, NC); he attended Wingate College, and holds a BA in Theology / Christian Ministry from Emmanuel Baptist University. Before coming to Bladen County, Cameron served as Youth Pastor at churches in Spencer and Rockwell, NC. Cameron is actively involved in the work of the Bladen Baptist Association and the Southern Baptist Convention. He has served as the Vice President (2013-2016) and as the President (2017) of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina as well as a member of the Board of Directors and various committees within the State Convention. Cameron served as the President of the NC Pastor's Conference (2016) and currently serves as a Trustee of the Baptist Children’s Homes of NC. In addition to his ministry at the Lake Church Pastor Cameron also serves as Bladen County Commissioner. Elected in 2020, Cameron is making a difference both spiritually and politically. Cameron and Tiffany travel regularly on behalf of the American Renewal Project challenging pastors and church leaders to run for public office, impacting the culture with their Christian values. 

Cameron’s life verses are Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thy heart; lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him & He shall direct thy paths.”
